AUSTIN (CR) — Two murder suspects are in custody at the Travis County Jail believed to have killed 27-year-old Michael Blaylock in Austin on March 26.
The suspects Karl Stokes, 20, and Marvin Flint, 21, are accused of shooting Blaylock to death around 9:36 p.m. After several reports of shots-fired Austin police arrived at 300 Carmen Court to find Blaylock with clear signs of trauma.
Austin/Travis County EMS attempted to resuscitate Blaylock, but he later died at the hospital. The Travis County Medical Examiner determined the cause of death was homicide by gunshots.
Stokes was found armed with a semi automatic pistol in Hutto by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force on April 11. His bond has been set at $150,000.
Days before, on April 6, Flint was arrested for felony possession of a firearm. His bond is $10,000.
Investigators believe Blaylock, Stokes and Flint know each other and are still investigating leads.
